I found near the end of my years of touring that I preferred nothing at all. I wanted nothing between me and the experience (not having to stand in line at the bathroom helped too). In the end my favorite was nothing at all.

Though if caffeine counts... sometimes

Quite honestly the acid scene was really over for me after seeing a tiger walk out of his stipes and the stone lions started to roar. . So the next was to save up a stash of weed, ludes and some coca for the New Years gigs in Oakland where a bunch of friends from both NY and San Diego would come and we would have someone manage to drive and by the time they were giving out the apples, oranges and granaola we were ok.Later in life the weed is to strong and nothing else works or is so detremental that it doesn't pay.I started pretty young and unfortunately did
not see the the evil before it was to late. I do assure you this had abosolutely no effect on telling a good show from an utter disaster.Just one other observation I must admit it's been a pleasure here w/o our very bigoted friend
and in no way sorry he's gone, free speech or not....LW
